Apple Watch Series 7 pre-orders start this week, all the info is here
- The Apple Watch Series 7 will enter the pre-order phase this week on October 8.
- The new smartwatch will hit store shelves on October 15.
- It is very likely supplies will be limited due to the delayed release date.
Last month, Apple formally launched the iPhone 13 series. Alongside its new flagship smartphones, it also launched a few other products, including some new iPads and its latest smartwatch.
However, the launch of the Apple Watch Series 7 wasn’t fully complete, as Apple didn’t give out a release date for it. Now, though, the company has finally confirmed when you can get your hands on the watch: October 15, 2021.
Pre-orders will open one week earlier on October 8, which is this coming Friday. The starting price is $399 and goes up from there depending on the configuration you want.
Although Apple obviously hasn’t said as much, it’s reasonable to assume supplies of the watch could be quite limited. In years past, Apple has opened pre-orders for the latest watch at the same time as it launched them. The fact that Apple delayed this release could be a signifier that they won’t be easy to get.
The Apple Watch Series 7 doesn’t feature too many wild changes as compared to last year’s model. However, it does feature a larger display that allows for more information to show on the screen and even allows for an official QWERTY keyboard.
