Android 12 is rolling out to Pixel phones today

After five developer previews and eight beta builds, Google has finally released the stable version of Android 12 to eligible Pixel smartphones. The update is rolling out from today, October 19. If you own a Google Pixel 3 or newer, head to Settings>System>System update to grab the update for your phone. Eligible phones include the Pixel 3, 3 XL, 3a, 3a XL, 4, 4 XL, 4a, 4a 5G, 5, and 5a. Of course, this is the version of Android that launches on the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, too.

This news follows the release of the stable Android 12 build making its way to AOSP earlier this month. If you’re not interested in waiting for the OTA to land on your device, you can follow these instructions to install Android 12.

If you don’t own a Pixel phone, Google says Android 12 will roll out to Samsung, OnePlus, Oppo, realme, Tecno, vivo, and Xiaomi devices later this year.
