Mobile World Congress 2019 starts in a few days. As such, we can expect an onslaught of announcements of new smartphones, tablets, and other Android devices.

It looks like TCL Communications will be delivering at least six new Alcatel smartphones soon, according to reliable leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks). In a self-described “tweetstorm,” Blass leaked photos and specs for all six.

The images are reprinted below, but don’t get too excited: most of these devices are decidedly budget, with only one coming close to the mid-range territory. Interestingly enough, at least one of the devices ships with Android 8.1 Oreo, even though Android 9.0 Pie has been available for over six months.

As you can see, some information is missing from a few of the specs sheets, such as the names of processors, which OS the device ships with, etc. The general gist, however, is that this is another crop of budget-minded smartphones likely geared towards developing markets such as India.

It is pretty cool that the Alcatel 1V will ship with the Android Pie edition of Android Go — we haven’t seen that in too many Android Go devices as of yet.

We’ll likely have official specs and pictures of these Alcatel devices very soon, as MWC 2019 is just starting up.
