If you’re a fan of RPGs, especially humorous action-RPGs, then you’re in luck. The Bard’s Tale for Android is currently available in the Google Play Store for 50 percent of what it would normally cost.

The Bard’s Tale, originally released in 2004 for the Playstation 2 and Xbox, was released for Android devices last month. It promises 20-30 hours of gameplay and more than 50 enemy types spread over a vast world of “with towns, wild forests, rivers, castles, towers, secret dungeons, snowy mountains, caverns, haunted tombs and more.” The game features voice acting from Cary Elwes and the late Tony Jay as the narrator.

Features that are new to the Android version include auto-save functionality and the classic 1985 game The Bard’s Tale I: Tales of the Unknown.

Take a look at the trailer below if you’re still on the fence about whether or not the game is for you.

The Bard’s Tale is available for devices running Android 2.3 and up, and will currently cost you $2.99 in the Google Play Store. Note that this game is larger than you may think, needing at least 1.7 GB of free space.
