Why I want Exynos processors in my Smartphone?

I want them in my phone because they are the best in class for high end Smartphone hardware. From what I’ve seen, nothing touches them.

Looking forward to all of the Mobile World Congress coverage this year. Going to be good seeing what the Smartphone arena is going to be like this year!

This is an amazing gadget and 5.3-inch super AMOLED HD is great to read content and watch movies. Only cumbersome is the TouchWiz UI with Live UX panel. The S-Pen is at times cumbersome for prolonged usage.

Lets face it people, phones are becoming the new laptops with the screens, processors and audio cards installed on them. My home computer only had a 1ghz dual core processor installed on it.
The galaxy note has a 1.4ghz dual core processor installed which makes the phone faster than my computer in terms of raw power and that’s what I like to see. Raw power for devices like phones. Not to mention it beats the power from my current phone running a 1ghz dual core processor.
That’s precisely why I would buy this device if it were cheaper but face it, that type of power doesn’t come cheap people.

I’ve had the Samsung Galaxy S2 before. Sadly, it was stolen. I also have the Acer A500 with the Tegra 2 processor. The overclocked Tegra 2 can’t even beat the Linpack/Quadrant scores of the non-OC’d Exynos. Now, that’s power!

I don’t understand why when I was using my Dell Streak 5″ (which I LOVED) for a year, people were criticizing it saying it was too big. Now this 5.3″ comes out and it’s all the craze. Whats the difference, the stylus?!
That being said. I’d LOVE to have this, I’m still not over the size/form factor of my Streak and miss it a lot. Dell definitely dropped the ball with the streak with barely any marketing, horrible support, and lack of updates.

Having an exynos on board would bring back that Dell Streak 5″ form factor I love with up to date power and speed!

Actually may be a few of people might ask what is exynos? and they seems to agree iphone A5 faster than exynos, but they are all wrong. Example, try to load a youtube video exynos compare A5 and you know a huge different. Exynos is the fastest in my opinion and majority seems agree on it. However, it come to device, the note, why I would to talk more about it more than the exynos, it is because Samsung reinvented the smartphone. Everything nowadays, who else want a small car, small house, small tv and others? and Who want a small smartphone like iPhone 3.5″? The note 5.3″ which is overwhelming iPhone such a small display compare with HD Super Amoled, the beauty of note.

I heard about Exynos when Samsung Galaxy S2 came out, it drives S2 to be powerful constantly and makes it become the best Android phone out of 2011. I want a note since it firstly came out last year but I am a student and cannot afford it. It is a great combination of phone and tablet. Exynos works really well because, though it doesn’t support high speeds yet, it’s one of the fastest cpu’s on the market today. At 1.2 ghz it is actually better than a qualcomm s3 clocked at 1.5 ghz is. It’s also made by Samsung, so it’s all from one company.

I’ve seen the note in action – Albeit, the large screen seems odd at first, I love it. The speed really isn’t bad. I love the stylus (although it can be touchy) I’m convinced that putting an Exynos processor in a phone makes it more solid, stable and quicker!

I know the Note only uses the 45nm tech (i would have liked the 5450 on it :)) but still the system provides for high end functionality it rivals all present devices in processing power the SoC including the GPU provides good response and allows Android to be displayed incredibly well.

At the 2011 Game Developers Conference ARM’s representatives demonstrated 60 Hz framerate playback in stereoscopic 3D running on the same Mali-400 MP and Exynos SoC. They said that an increased framerate of 70 Hz would be possible through the use of an HDMI 1.4 port.

I have tried this with my phone recently (HDMI out to TV) and it was a little laggy. Some movies had the voices slightly out of sync and that can bother some people. I am really interested in seeing what this processor can do!
Samsung makes a really nice product as well so the two together should be amazing.

Exynos shows that not all SoCs are created equal. On top of that, Galaxy Note is the coolest new phone to have come out yet. I played with the AT&T version and the Note was amazing, the Exynos version must be like having a cake and getting to eat it too.

Samsung products go above and beyond technology as far as product integration like that of Social Hub, Android products and competition including the iPhones. Voice command powered by Vlingo has been first of its kind before Siri was even released, as if it was something new but that Apple marketed as such. I’ve always been a fan of a great phone, and although an android user myself I have found that iPhone’s are pretty great at running what they have. I do notice some lag and hiccups on my Droid Charge, but that always happens. I would really love to have a phone that has the Exynos Processor, because frankly, these processors kick ass. From what i’ve seen they handle everything the phones can dish out and still have so much power for everything else. I am getting really excited to see the direction all of the non-apple phones are heading in. It makes me so proud to be living in such a technological era. I’m so excited to see how these processors inspire and even have the possibility for ushering in the super phones of tomorrow. Having that quality, that speed, that power all in my phone would change everything.

The exynos has a smoother transitions and i compared it to a sprint gs2 with an exynos processor. The game asphalt is noticeably smoother on the exynos processor. And number doesnt matter at all. Exynos is an all around better processor.

I want the Exynos processor for multiple reasons. I have the ATT Note and love the size buy want to take it back for the following. It definitely lags. It’s slow. Every single time i close out of my messages the letters stay at the bottom of the screen and takes multiple seconds to exit. I constantly have to enter task manager and shut down my apps. The phone runs extremely hot and I feel that the processor in the ATT version is to blame. I mostly want the Exynos because ATT told me i can’t have it. They want to blame the 4g for switching the chip…. I don’t buy it, ATT is trying to dictate my technology and i don’t like it. Next thing you know ATT will come out with a Galaxy Note MoonRocket which will have the Exynos and expect me to buy it, then two weeks later they will come out with the Glaxy Note Exynos MoonRocket Super HD and expect me to buy that one too. I must also mention I am stuck between a rock and a hard place because that awesome Gorilla Glass on the Note cracked in half from sitting in my pocket (so i can’t return it) I think ATT did this on purpose too (Just kidding ATT i love you….blah) So can you please hook a brother up and let me have your Note. P.S. if you know anywhere you can even buy and Americanized ATT Note Screen that would be helpful because all are for the international version. I got my Droid X back in May, and I was in love. However, the more I used it, it got slower and slower and slower. Then, finally, Gingerbread came in OTA and nearly bricked my phone! Not wanting to root my phone, I went and got a new launcher for it, and that crashed the kernel! Motoblur destroyed my phone, and I’m now barely able to keep up with modern apps meant for better phones. My family and friends are getting newer and nicer phones everyday while I just try and get by. I want a Note because it’ll finally put me back on top of the tech world and allow me to enjoy my phone to the level I once did!

I work at a large medical center in the southeast and am looking for devices that will enable clinical staff faster access to patient data for care and diagnosis. When it comes to accessing data, speed is everything. A doctor once told me ” if an electron can circumnavigate the globe in .03 milliseconds, why does it take so long to access my patients information?”.
So should this be a device that can is fast as you say it could be, this may be a step in the right direction to almost instantaneous access.
Not be be an Android snob but putting wireless Apple devices on a secured, HIPAA compliant network is one of the most challenging things that we manage and having a device that is fast, small enough to fit in a lab coat, and can be secured to access with being compliant to all the gov’t standards for healthcare would really make a difference.

This would be a great NOTE for me to use learning to program using Android OS. I am anxious to run comparisons with the Exynos processor. Samsung seems to be coming up with a lot of the newer improvements in tablets and cell phones. From my past year research it seems as if Samsung is listening to the customers/users and teaming up with Samsung for this giveaway is another example. I agree that multitasking is the name of the game – most of the time we do not need that on our home computers, but talking on the phone and browsing the web or uploading to the web while listening to music – all these tasks seem to benefit from dual core processors.

Well, I would like to get Exynos processor because I love to carry my student projects on my smartphone and tablet because they are always available and easy to access. It really helps me a lot and improves grades at faculty. However, I feel I need exynos processor because of large projects that we are doing at faculty, and they seem to run slowly on average processor. It can get time-consuming and therefore my rate and efficiency goes down. I was Exynos processors in my smartphones because the most limiting factor for my current device is power management. My phone is fairly fast, but it chugs with multi-task content and drains it’s battery very quickly over the course of the day. I prefer an Exynos chipset because the structure of the chip makes phones and tablets more organized. The brilliant Exynos processor makes phones and tablets function without any sort of issues. The instantaneous speed is what makes the devices outstandingly organized and impressive. Due to the Exynos chipset, phones and tablets are unbeatable. The Exynos chipset makes every other chipsets seem weak and not outstanding as Samsung’s Exynos processor. I have a T-Mobile MyTouch3G Fender and after the many, many months of anticipation for the release of the new updated operating system, the phone now runs like a turtle and with very poor results. My friends know not to ask me to take a photo and send it to them because that is not an option that is feasable on my phone now! Sometimes it takes an hour just for my galary to load. Basically, as long as all I want is a phone that can make calls and send simple text messages, I now have it! T-Mobile has no help available and can’t figure out why the phone is basically useless as anything except a calling and texting device after the upgraded operating system. Apps turn them selves on and drain my battery in just an hour or two! No matter what I do to try and turn them off, it’s inevitable that they will eventually turn themselves back on! A new phone, the Exynos would make my life sooooo much better and I wouldn’t feel like I’m back in the middle ages of technology!

It would be great to have a real Android phone. My son (8yrs old) had been working on the Android App Inventor until they took it offline (on its way to MIT) last year. I would love to be able to have a phone wherein he could see his apps run live. Never mind all the other great reasons to have a smartphone (still have a Nokia clam-shell – it hasn’t died yet, so no reason to find the money to buy another one).

We all agree, that smartphones and PDAs define the quality of life these days. The more number of Gadgets you have to hold on to, life for you becomes that much easier. And, as always with public demands, there lies a competitive market for manufacturing and selling these Smartphones. But again, as always with polarized business, there lies a lot of products which uses processors deprived of resources to garner the raw power to run a lot of useful apps. These phones or devices lag behind, and the user shivers upon hearing of playing a video from the net or of basic surfing n’ downloading using their ‘Smart’ devices.

Exynos, as I know, is at its latest version of 5450 is a 2.0 Ghz Quadcore ARM Cortex processor, which boasts of much to do. By just looking at its specs, an user expects better response from his device, and tends to think that maybe one of these would have ended his agony to of using his device, and would actually replace it with pleasure. Thats what was the point behind investing on a smartphone was at the first place, isn’t it? A person expects durability, portability and yet good usage of the available resources to generate some results when used. As a common advertisement says, the Smartphones are going to obsolete the laptop era. But yet in reality, modern day devices have much road to travel. I believe, Exynos, playing its part as a Quadcore processor, will act to better that road.

I don’t believe any processor is an absolute. New technology will come out in the near future. Yet, having Exynos power my smartphone at the moment, I expect all the work that I do in my phone would resemble the word, ‘Lightning fast’ in the actual meaning of the term.

Having said all that, the reason I am writing in this forum, is because I am an Android fanatic. I lament seeing my Galaxy Duos blink and stare upon a command of running an application with its depleted resources. I sincerely believe that an Exynos in my Phone right now, would have made my heart skip a bit, seeing that same phone… running like Never Before!

I have been closely watching smart phone trends and i have been waiting to get one when its almost no longer a smart phone, but a pocket pc. Now that phones are getting bigger batteries and faster processors they are now getting extremely close to this pocket pc concept. Also, the concept of smart phones being able to boot a lap top os (ubuntu) when put onto a dock, pushes these devices even closer to the pocket pc concept. Although they don’t have a significant difference in power consumption compared to other dual core processors I would like the Exynos processor in my devices for the simplest reason, its fast, and the faster, the more of a pocket pc feel it has. And as for this point of time, it doesnt have to be a lot more efficient because devices are getting giant batteries now, not only that, but samsung already has these chips in devices on the market, it’s only a matter of months probably that they release an even faster possibly more efficient one soon, i mean come on we alllllll know how fast samsung likes to release new goodies. If i were to win this device it would be used to its max, because the only device i can actually say i own, is a psp 2001, and i can barely surf the web with that freaking thing.

The reason why i want an exynos chip in my phone because im sure Samsung used it to improve the batter life of the phone. im also pissed that the us version has a dual core snapdragon processor. This Samsung galaxy note would be one of a kind. i Love the size the spen. The actual Exynos processor keeping my phone cool and running well. and not so much strain on the battery. Im currently using a eVO shift which is using a Dual core snapdragon. (similar to the us version of the note). Trust me i know about phones and ill treat the international note as a rear gem found in the us.

I need/want a new phone. For years I was still using the Razr phone with the (type 3 times to get a C texting!) Well for me there is only reason why I want the Exynos processor in my smartphone is because I been using the slow iphone since it came out in 2007. I finally got the 4, but its barley any faster, the games are sluggish, the apps take a while to load, and it cant even handle some of the 3rd party customizations. I would like to see this processor on various devices since are daily lives require us to use more apps to assist us and provide us entrainment.

Exynos processors are by far the most powerful. I have had other devices with processors made by Nvidia and Texas Instruments, and my current GS2 can run circles around them. I even got rid of my iPad 2 because it felt sluggish compared to my GS2.
