Moto G (2014) LTE model outed by Motorola Brazil's website

When the Moto G (2014) was officially announced back in September, some folks were a bit disappointed to learn that the phone didn’t ship with a 4G LTE option. Instead, those looking for their LTE fix would have to remain content with the Moto G 4G LTE, based on the original Moto G’s specs. For those that have been waiting for a 2nd gen LTE model, the time may be nigh.

Mention of the Moto G (2014) 4G LTE has now surfaced on Motorola Brazil’s website, via the Moto G’s official spec sheet. In addition to offering up LTE connectivity, the new phone model apparently sees an upgraded 2390mAh battery — versus the 2070mAh battery found in the non-LTE Moto G (2014). Other than these two changes, everything else about the phone remains the same as ever.

Keep in mind that Motorola has yet to actually announce the LTE variant of the Moto G (2014), though when it does we imagine it will also make its way over to other global markets including Europe, parts of Asia and North America. Considering the Moto G (2014) is priced the same as the original Moto G was, the new LTE model could be similarly priced to the Moto G 4G’s original launch price of $220. Whether LTE and a bigger battery is enough to justify a price increase of around $40 (if this price holds true) will depend on your own personal wants and needs.
