LG was fast out of the gate with the Marshmallow updates for its flagships, and now users of the LG G3 on AT&T and T-Mobile can look forward to their own update notification.

On AT&T, the LG G3 Marshmallow update brings the build number to MRA58K and the software version to D859030k. The update incorporates the March 1 security patch, according to a screenshot we received from one of our readers.

One major user-facing feature coming to the LG G3 thanks to Marshmallow is the ability to move apps to microSD, to save internal storage. Besides this, you can expect the full suite of Marshmallow features, including Doze mode for improving battery life, granular permissions, and Google Now on Tap, which picks up search terms from active apps making quick research a breeze.

Marshmallow is also hitting the LG G3 on the T-Mobile model, with the same set of features. It looks like the OTA is not hitting device just yet, but you can try connecting your device to your computer and fire up LG’s PC companion to check manually.
