MWC 2016 is now starting to wrap up, but it’s been one heck of a show. Key among the announcements this week was the official unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. The Galaxy S7 family might not offer the same kind of radical design changes as we saw with the LG G5, but that doesn’t mean Samsung has been sitting idly by.

Last year’s Galaxy S6 gave us a major overhaul in design language. This year’s Galaxy S7 is all about refining this experience, while returning missing features like water/dust resistance and microSD. And you can be sure that Samsung is going to be touting all these changes in a series of upcoming ads – like the one above.

In addition to talking up the key changes in the Galaxy S7, the video also calls the Galaxy S7 a “virtual reality” machine. While this was also true of the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 family, it’s not surprising to see Samsung attempting to further market the fact that the Galaxy series has arguably the best mobile VR experience available.

The video is a decent ‘teaser’ for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, though if you really want to get a great idea of what to expect from the Galaxy S7, check out some of our best coverage from MWC 2016:

its a nice ad but samsung ads are better than that !

The Nexus 6P is still the best Android phone.

Okay, it doesn’t have wireless charging. Or fast wireless charging. Or OIS. Or MST for payments at any magnetic strip reading terminal. Or expandable storage. Or the best display. Or the best VR experience. Or the best camera. Or the best SoC. Or the edge features. And it breaks easily — even the side buttons pop out if you try to remove a skin from them.

But it’s still the best. Because “stock Android”.

Lol! But but it runs stock Android!!!

Oh, stock Android, and you can insert the cable right side-up or upside down (which you’ll have to do, since it doesn’t have wireless charging). I forgot that other reason why the Nexus 6P is superior.

yes the best part of this phone is the cable to charge it with!

Nobody wants stock android. It’s the worst in terms of productivity. Touchwiz is the way to go. Least bugs, most features. Trust me I tried them all from CM to Paranoid Android etc.

Thank you for voicing your voice. Somebody really needs to tell these nexus fanboys to get their shit together. They are getting almost as irritating as apple fanboys lately.
