Google Drive notification sharing

Another new update has appeared for Google Drive for Android, bringing with it simple one touch file sharing from your notifications menu and support for 23 new languages.

From now on, if you want to quickly share your most recent Drive upload with a contact, you can simply add that person to the file directly from the notification that appears when the upload has finished. So you don’t have to go back into the app to share your file.

The update also introduces support for 23 new languages, including Armenian, Basque, Chinese (Hong Kong), French (Canada), Georgian, Khmer, and Malayalam, to name just a few. Google also says that it has made a host of performance improvements to the app as well.

Recently, Google integrated Google+ photos and videos into Drive, introduced drag and drop functionality, and added new features to its office software suite. All of which should help keep Drive and Docs as an appealing choice in this competitive app segment.

Google states that this most recent update will be rolling out in the next week or so.
