ASUS has released a trailer that teases its upcoming Zenfone 3, which is expected to be announced the day before Computex 2016 at the end of the month. The company’s Zenvolution event is scheduled for May 30 – the day before Computex 2016 kicks off – and based on the teaser, we’re likely to see between two and three devices announced.

ASUS’ teaser also teases a third, larger device, which could be the Zenfone 3 Max. We’ve already heard from ASUS CEO Jerry Shen that this year’s Zenfone range will see the company switch from Intel to Qualcomm or MediaTek processors and the new handsets will hit stores in six countries by August.

Based on a previously leaked image, we have a rough idea of what to expect from the Zenfone 3 generation. The handsets are expected to feature a curved aluminium frame, 2.5D glass on the front and back, a fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C, a camera flash for the front and rear, laser autofocus and an optional “Smart Flip Cover”.

There’s no denying that the Zenfone 3 range could be fantastic and given how popular the Zenfone 2 range was, ASUS is sticking to its tried and tested winning recipe with its latest range. What do you hope to see from the new generation of Zenfones and are you excited about it?
