Along with the Marshmallow update for its Xperia Z5, Sony has begun rolling out a similar software upgrade for its Xperia Z3 Plus and Xperia Z4 Tablet. The update brings these devices up to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, matching the features found in the company’s Z5 flagship smart phones.

The update comes with the build number 32.1.A.1.163, which is exactly the same software that has been arriving for the Xperia Z5 today. In it, you will find the familiar Marshmallow Doze, Google Now on Tap, and app permission features. Sony has also incorporate a new Xperia Home Launcher with Marshmallow, but its STAMINA mode has been left out.[related_videos align=”right” type=”custom” videos=”675765,661117,628115,626236″]

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is up and running for the Wi-Fi (SGP712) and LTE (SGP771) variants of the Xperia Z4 Tablet, along with the Xperia Z3 Plus (E6553) model. The same update is also rolling out the Xperia Z3 Plus Dual, but in a smaller number of regions at the moment. According to XperiFirm, the update is already live in Russia, India, Singapore, Turkey, and the USA, along with one or two other nations. Other regions will likely follow suit in the coming days.
