- Xiaomi will launch a new smartwatch alongside the Mi 11 Lite in India.
- The Mi Watch Revolve Active will sport an SpO2 sensor with VO2 Max monitoring.
- As for its design, it could look a lot like the Xiaomi Mi Watch, too.
Update: June 14, 2021 (3:50 AM ET): Xiaomi has now confirmed the forthcoming launch of the Mi Watch Revolve Active in a Twitter post. The tweet links to an event page that confirms a few features of the watch, too.
The Mi Watch Revolve Active will include built-in GPS with Glonass, Galileo, and BDS support. It’ll also monitor the wearer’s VO2 Max figures, heart rate, and “body energy.”
Like the Mi Watch, the Mi Watch Revolve Active will sport two buttons, one marked Home, the other labeled Sport. Based on this detail, the Mi Watch Revolve Active could merely be a rebranded Mi Watch, but we’ll have to wait for a little over a week for confirmation of this.
Original article: June 14, 2021 (2 AM ET): The Mi 11 Lite won’t be the only Xiaomi device to look out for in India later this month. According to a now-deleted Amazon microsite (via MySmartPrice), the Xiaomi Mi Watch Revolve Active is expected to launch alongside Xiaomi’s mid-range smartphone in the country.
The microsite doesn’t reveal too much about the smartwatch but does tease its design. It will seemingly have a rounded face and pack similar aesthetics to the Mi Watch Revolve and Mi Watch. Like the latter, the Active will reportedly pack an SpO2 sensor to keep track of the wearer’s blood oxygen saturation levels.
If the Active shares key features with the Mi Watch Revolve, we can also expect a 1.39-inch AMOLED display, a 420mAh battery, and a built-in GPS to feature.
The Mi Watch Revolve Active will debut alongside the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite on June 22 at 12 PM IST (2:30 AM ET). So expect more details to arrive in due course.
