Update, August 21, 2019 (4:30AM ET): The Mi A3 is now available in India. The phone goes on sale in two configurations starting August 23 and will be available on Amazon as well as Xiaomi’s own online platform.

Original article, July 12, 2019 (2:42PM ET): We’ve seen plenty of teases and leaks in recent days, but Xiaomi has finally launched the Mi A3 in Spain today. And true to the leaks, we’re indeed looking at the China-only Mi CC 9e with stock Android.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 packs a Snapdragon 665 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB or 128GB of expandable storage. You’re also getting a 6-inch AMOLED screen (1,560 x 720) with an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 4,030mAh battery with 18W charging.

The Mi A3 also features an improved camera experience on paper, delivering a triple rear camera setup (48MP + 8MP ultra wide + 2MP depth) and a 32MP selfie camera in a waterdrop notch.

Other noteworthy specs include Android One (with Android Pie), USB-C connectivity, a 3.5mm port, and dual-SIM support. Unfortunately, Xiaomi’s new device doesn’t offer NFC.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 will be available in 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB options, priced at 249 euros (~$279) and 279 euros (~$313) respectively. The 64GB variant will be available via mi.com, Mi Stores, and several other participating retailers from July 24 (expect Amazon availability in the “upcoming weeks”). The 128GB model will only be available from July 24 via mi.com and Mi Stores.

The Mi A3 goes on sale in India starting August 23 and has been priced at 12,999 rupees ($180) for the 4GB /64GB variant. Meanwhile, the 6GB/128GB version is priced at 15,999 rupees ($225). The phone will be available via mi.com, Mi stores as well as Amazon India.
