It won't be coming to global markets though.

TL;DR
  • Xiaomi has launched the Mi 10S in China.
  • This is essentially last year’s Mi 10 with a few upgrades.

Xiaomi confirmed earlier this year that it would be offering a refreshed version of 2020’s Mi 10 flagship, dubbing it the Mi 10S. Now, the company has officially launched the device in China.

True to the company’s prior comments, the Xiaomi Mi 10S adopts a tweaked design that’s more in line with the Mi 11. But the changes don’t stop here though.

The refreshed phone also has a Snapdragon 870 chipset in lieu of the original model’s Snapdragon 865. So expect a mild clock speed upgrade for the prime core and GPU. Otherwise, you’re also getting stereo speakers tuned by Harman/Kardon and 33W wired charging instead of the original’s 30W wired topups. The upgraded charging speed means you’ll get a full charge in 56 minutes.

The rest of the Mi 10S package is pretty much in line with the Mi 10. That means a 4,780mAh battery, 30W wireless charging, 10W reverse wireless charging, a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED screen (90Hz refresh rate), and an under-display fingerprint sensor.

Expect the same photography experience here too, with a 108MP main camera (0.8 micron pixels, four-in-one binning), 13MP ultra-wide shooter, and a pair of 2MP sensors for depth effects and macro shots. A 20MP camera in a punch-hole cutout pulls selfie and video-call duties.

The Xiaomi Mi 10S goes on sale in China starting at 3,299 yuan (~$507) for the 8GB/128GB variant. Other options include an 8GB/256GB model for 3,499 yuan (~$538) and a 12GB/256GB variant for 3,799 yuan (~$584). The phone will be available in black, blue, and white color options. But what about availability outside China?

“Mi 10S will not be available in markets outside of Mainland China,” a company representative told Android Authority.
