Wallpaper Wednesday: More great phone wallpapers for all to share (September 2)

Welcome to Wallpaper Wednesday! In this weekly roundup, we’ll give you a handful of Android wallpapers you can download and use on your phone, tablet, or even your laptop/PC. The images will come from folks here at Android Authority as well as our readers. All are free to use and come without watermarks. File formats are JPG and PNG, and we’ll provide images in both landscape and portrait modes, so they’ll be optimized for various screens.

Wallpaper Wednesday: September 2, 2026

Another week, another set of awesome Android wallpapers for you to share! Remember that we are always looking for submissions from our readers. Head to the bottom of this article to find out how you could have one of your images featured in an upcoming Wallpaper Wednesday!

With that in mind, we’ve got six awesome images from our readers that would look great on your phone, tablet, or PC. As usual, we also have three images from the Android Authority team.

Surely, there’s a wallpaper in this selection that you’ll like. Which one is it? Let’s go over them together so you can learn more about their history.

The first wallpaper is mine (Edgar Cervantes). I captured this image during my last trip to NYC, and that watch is the latest acquisition for my collection. I have a bit of an obsession with watches. Whether it is a healthy or unhealthy one is a story for another day, but I absolutely love this thing. It’s a very unique piece! This is the Tissot RockWatch, made from granite from the Jungfrau mountain in the Swiss Alps. I think it is worthy of a wallpaper, but maybe that’s just me! I know not everyone is obsessed with timepieces, but we have plenty of other great wallpapers for you!

The second wallpaper was submitted by Paul Jones. It showcases a rustic step that looks very unique, with a couple of flowers in the foreground. The balance in architecture and nature offers a soothing equilibrium. I happen to like it and think it would look great in any background. Then there’s the third wallpaper, which was provided by our own Zac Kew-Denniss. It gives us a balanced view of some thinner branches or twigs, with a forest in the background.

OK, it’s time to get to the most exciting wallpapers: yours! The next three images come from one reader. We wouldn’t usually feature that many wallpapers from a single submitter, but trust us when we say these are special! Anke did an amazing job with his Google Pixel 10 Pro. The fourth wallpaper is a light painting, and it is way too cool! Then, there are a couple of plant macro photos, one featuring a gorgeous red flower, and the other showcasing a high-contrast set of leaves. I love these!

Then, Sadman Sakib shared a striking sunset with city buildings in the foreground. If you prefer views of the sun peeking through the trees, there’s the 8th wallpaper, captured on a beach in the Maldives. This was sent to us by Ismail Faisal, who shot the image using a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. Gorgeous, right?

Lastly, we have a really interesting photo of a European alley with a parked Fiat. It just looks so classic! I love this view. It was sent to us by Rafael, who shot this photo using a Google Pixel 9 Pro. The scene takes place in Orvieto, a town in the Italian island of Sardinia.

How to submit your own Android wallpapers

We are very excited to see your own contributions to our Wallpaper Wednesdays project. Before submitting, here are the rules:

• Your submissions should be your own creation. That means photos you took, digital art you created, etc. Please don’t submit other people’s work — that’s just not cool. Also, please don’t send images purely created with AI. They will not be accepted. Images you created and then augmented with AI tools are OK.
• You must agree to let Android Authority share your Android wallpapers for free with anyone who wants them.
• We will not accept watermarked images. You will, however, get a credit and a link in the article itself. We can link to your social media account only.

Ready to submit? Fill out the form below. You’ll need to include the highest-resolution version of the image you can provide, your name, and a brief description of what the image is. If you want us to link to a social media page you own in your credit, please provide that, too, but that’s optional.
