With that in mind, we’ve got six awesome images from our readers that would look great on your phone, tablet, or PC. As usual, we also have three images from the Android Authority team.

Editor’s note: Keep in mind that the images below have been compressed and optimized to improve website performance. This means the quality has been reduced, and these are for demonstration purposes only. To get the full-resolution files, download the wallpapers from this drive link.

Did you see anything you like? There are some true gems here. Let’s talk about each image to give you some context.

Let’s start with the Android Authority team submissions. The first wallpaper comes from Bogdan Petrovan. I feel very connected to this image, because every time I step into nature, one of my favorite moments is looking up and admiring the sheer height of trees against the beautiful sky. This image reminds me of every hike I have taken.

Next up is an image from yours truly (Edgar Cervantes). I tend to be the one around trees, but every now and then, I step out of my forest. I recently passed through Seattle, Washington, on a work trip, and of course, I had to go check out the Space Needle. Here’s a fun architectural shot I captured looking straight up at it. Hope you like it!

Modern buildings are fun, but old ones are much more interesting, at least to me. The third wallpaper comes from Jonathan Feist’s adventures during his recent trip to Scotland. I’ve always said that composition, color theory, and other technical aspects of photography make up only half of a photo. What makes an image truly unique is partly luck and capturing the right moment at the right time. This image is awesome on its own, but what truly makes it special is that bird flying by.

A good motorcycle picture always calls me, and I am sure many other riders will feel the same. This one comes from Minh Diem, and the image was captured using a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Classic scooters have a very special look and feel, especially when you see them in their natural element. The fifth wallpaper, also submitted by Minh Diem, complements the scene very well. It almost looks like it could be the building the motorcycle was parked in front of!

Who doesn’t like a nice moon shot? The thing is, good ones are hard to come by. These require specialized equipment or a bunch of help from AI. Felipe Freitas captured this image using a Samsung Galaxy A23 5G, along with an amateur telescope with a smartphone mount. Really cool stuff. He mentions it was hard to capture because any movement could shake the setup and blur the photo. Thank him for his patience and effort in the comments!

Birds are always nice to look at, and here’s a really good wallpaper from Bhuvan L. It comes all the way from Bangalore, India, and was shot using a Nikon D3400. By the way, I owned that camera at the beginning of my photography career, and I hold very dear memories of that model. Enjoy it, brother. I know I did, and it changed my life.

Now, the 8th wallpaper is something special. I love the use of leading lines and a perfectly exposed sunset. The moody touch and motorcycle rider create a feeling I have experienced many times, and always inspires me. Great work with that iPhone 17 Pro, Bharathwaj Bala.

Lastly, we have a shot taken by Minenhle Msizi Dube in South Africa, in an area called KwaDlangezwa. The moody black-and-white style is striking, and the mystery of the road’s direction leaves you with the right amount of uncertainty.

These are all amazing, guys! Great work. Thank you so much for participating. Again, be sure to download these photos in their high resolutions from this Drive link!

This is Halloween!

Did you start singing after reading that header? I know I did when I wrote it. Halloween is one of the most popular holidays, and I am feeling festive. This is why the rest of this month’s Wallpaper Wednesdays will be Halloween-themed!

Do you have any spooky images? Maybe you have some shots of some pumpkin carvings, or Fall settings. If they resemble the Halloween spirit in any way, we’d love to feature your photos in the upcoming Wallpaper Wednesday posts. Please send them over!

Also, do we have any Day of the Dead fans out there? It would be lovely to see those wallpapers, too.

How to submit your own Android wallpapers

We are very excited to see your own contributions to our Wallpaper Wednesdays project. Before submitting, here are the rules:

  • Your submissions should be your own creation. That means photos you took, digital art you created, etc. Please don’t submit other people’s work — that’s just not cool. Also, please don’t send images purely created with AI. They will not be accepted. Images you created and then augmented with AI tools are OK.
  • You must agree to let Android Authority share your Android wallpapers for free with anyone who wants them.
  • We will not accept watermarked images. You will, however, get a credit and a link in the article itself. We can link to your social media account only.

Ready to submit? Fill out the form below. You’ll need to include the highest-resolution version of the image you can provide, your name, and a brief description of what the image is. If you want us to link to a social media page you own in your credit, please provide that, too, but that’s optional.
