If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to pick up your favorite VR title this year, now might be the perfect time.
From June 23rd – July 4th, users of Valve’s popular gaming platform Steam will be able to grab their favorite titles at deeply discounted rates. While not every title has been announced to be part of the sale, a decent amount of games are seeing great markdowns, making it the perfect time to try out that new experience you’ve been eyeing. Whether you’re into mind boggling puzzle games or space flight simulators, Steam has the games for you.
Over at the Steam store we’re seeing a variety of bundles popping up, allowing customers to purchase a variety of titles in multi-game packages. The bundles Steam is currently offering include the Metroidvania” bundle, first-person puzzler bundle, survival bundle, and the JRPG bundle, but there may be more coming in the future. If you buy games in these bundle packages, you can see an additional 10-15% discount on top of the already discounted sale prices. If you’ve been looking to try multiple new titles in one go, one of these bundles might be the perfect opportunity to get you in the game.
As for the VR selection, you can check all the discounts right here.
Steam is infamous for offering games at incredibly discounted prices during its winter and summer sales, and this is the first time they have offered virtual reality titles as part of the event. Though VR is not a huge part of the store as of yet, we’re sure to see a huge influx of virtual reality titles over the coming months, so you can bet your bottom dollar that the winter sales will be even more amazing for the medium.
