Latest Todoist update brings multi-window support for Android 7.0, In Apps search and more
Fans of the popular mobile to-do list app Todoist will be happy to hear that a pretty big update is rolling out now in the Google Play Store. The update adds a number of features that have been previously tested in the Todoist Beta channel.
According to Android Police, the new update will add multi-window support for folks running Android 7.0 Nougat or above, allowing users to work while also using another app on the same screen. Nougat users will also be able to use the app’s Quick Reply to comments feature for tasks from the notification shade.
Also, if you happen to own the new Google Pixel or Pixel XL (or have the new Android 7.1 Nougat Developer Preview on your Nexus device), this new Todoist version can take advantage of the new app shortcuts feature found in the OS update. Also, Todoist now supports Google’s recently-announced In Apps feature.
Again, all these feature are already available to beta testers, and you can apply for the program here. Otherwise, if you don’t mind waiting a little while, you can simply wait until the Todoist update for the non-beta version makes its way to all users starting this week.
