Can’t get enough of the Dark Knight? You’re in luck! Telltale games has just released a trailer for their upcoming game BATMAN. What’s interesting about this game, however, is that TellTale Games isn’t known for their action-packed, seat-of-your-pants combat mechanics. These guys are storytellers at heart, which means we are slated to get an adventure with the Bat that looks unlike anything we’ve seen for the franchise so far.

With the weight off action, it looks like TellTale will be focusing more on the balance that Bruce Wayne must walk tightrope-style between himself and his vigilante alter ego. As per the developer’s modus operandi, BATMAN will be a serialized title that will stretch across five smaller games.

The trailer doesn’t give us much to go on in terms of gameplay, but we’re definitely going to be seeing some of our old favorite baddies getting involved in the drama. Catwoman, Harvey Dent, and Falcone make prominent appearances, and Wayne’s steadfast butler Alfred provides cautionary words that set the tone for the narrative.

BATMAN: Realm of Shadows will be the first game in this series, and it will be arriving on PC, PS4, Xbox One, iOS, and Android on August 2nd. We can’t wait to see what adventures the Caped Crusader gets into this time. While we twiddle our thumbs in anticipation of August 2nd, let us know what you think of the trailer in the comments below!
