If you haven’t given Waze a spin, you’re missing out on a pretty cool app. The navigator functions something like a social network on the road, allowing users to collaborate in spotting road hazards, speed traps, and potholes. One of the most fun aspects of the app is that the developers occasionally get famous personalities to voice the navigation commands. From Arnold Schwarzenegger to Shaq, we’ve ridden alongside a variety of celebrities. Today get ready for some Auto-Tune action, because T-Pain can now be your copilot.

(Update: Waze responds) Waze hack lets snoopers track your location

To unlock this feature, simply hit the settings button and navigate to Sound > Voice Language. You’ll see a variety of choices including the hilarious “Boy Band” setting that sings alerts and directions to you. Tap English (US) – T-Pain and you’ll be good to go.

One of the ways he has distinguished himself is with his extensive use of Auto-Tune, a technology that he helped popularize. Long-time interneters will also recognize him from his work with The Lonely Island and Auto-Tune the News.
