T-Mobile users will get $4 tickets to Deadpool 2
- T-Mobile users with access to the T-Mobile Tuesdays app can score $4 tickets to Deadpool 2 starting on May 15.
- T-Mobile is also running a contest to win a trip for two to New York to see an early screening of the film.
- Additionally, on May 1 the T-Mobile Tuesdays perk will be a contest to win free movie tickets for a year.
If you’re a postpaid customer of T-Mobile, you probably already know that every Tuesday, T-Mobile promotes discounts, deals, and giveaways, via its T-Mobile Tuesdays app. Today, the nation’s third-largest carrier announced that on Tuesday, May 15, customers will have the option to snag $4 tickets to see Deadpool 2 on opening weekend.
T-Mobile recently had a similar promotion for Maze Runner: The Death Cure. However, Deadpool 2 tickets will likely be in much higher demand than Maze Runner tickets, so be sure to get in there quick to get yours.
There are also two other Deadpool-related contests that T-Mobile will run in the coming weeks. Starting tomorrow, anyone (even people who aren’t on T-Mobile) can enter a sweepstakes to win a three-night stay in New York to attend a screening of Deadpool 2 before it receives a wide release. You’ll also get trained by an expert sensei at one of the oldest Dojos in New York. T-Mobile will even let you bring along a friend.
T-Mobile customers can enter the contest right in the T-Mobile Tuesdays app starting tomorrow, while people who aren’t T-Mobile subscribers can enter online via the T-Mobile Twitter account.
Then, on May 1, the T-Mobile Tuesdays perk will be a sweepstakes to win movie tickets for a year. You’ll play a Deadpool game to enter the contest. However, it’s not clear on what exactly “movie tickets for a year” means. Does that mean tickets to any movie you like? Two tickets a week? You’ll have to read the fine print when the contest goes live next week.
The first Deadpool film defied all expectations and became the second-most successful R-rated film of all time. The eponymous character’s penchant for using “colorful” language lines up nicely with the potty mouth of T-Mobile’s CEO John Legere.
Deadpool 2 hits theaters starting on May 18.
