Star Wars Kinghts of the Old Republic

Are you a Star Wars fan looking to get your gaming fix on your Android device? Does the RPG style Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic sound good to you? Good, head on over to the Google Play Store now with $5 in hand and get your fix.

Seemingly out of nowhere, developer Aspyr has ported over the 2003 era console and PC RPG game. A 2.4GB install brings the big Star Wars universe to an incomplete selection of Android devices running Android 4.1 and up.

The game itself was originally built by Bioware, with the story taking place well before the universe that we experienced in the original films. You take control of a customizable character en-route to becoming a Jedi and join the battle against the evil Sith in this intergalactic adventure.

Taking control of the game can be done through touch screen controls alone, or for that console feel, HID controller support has been built in. Aside from that, the game appears to be all there, minus some of the more complex graphical fragments, like in the finer textures of shadows and clouds.

If you decide to undertake this Jedi adventure, buckle in, it is a fairly lengthy story, which is a wonderful thing for an Android game. $4.99 is still not a low cost for an Android app, and this clocks in at a 50% discount for opening Android release, but this one may just be worth the money. If Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is sounding like the adventure for you, head on into the Google Play Store to check it out.

What do you say, are you up for a little old Star Wars adventure in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on your Android device?
