The G Flex 2 is almost here, with Sprint announcing today that it will launch the phone on March 13th and will begin taking pre-order tomorrow, February 20th.

The G Flex 2 will be available on Sprint easy pay for zero down and 24 payments of $21, coming to a total of $504. That’s really pretty impressive, especially considering the original G Flex came at much higher of a premium. Sprint users will also be the only ones in the US to get their hands on the Volcano Red variant of the phone, which is a bit disapointing for those of us on other carriers — as that particular model is damn sexy. For those not swayed by red, the platinum model will also be offered by the Now Network.

The G Flex 2 might not be LG’s main flagship of the year, but its specs certainly put it in the same league. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 810 CPU with 3GB RAM, a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 3000 mAh battery and a 13MP camera. We won’t go to deeply into the spec sheet, but you can certainly find out more by visiting our original announcement page.

What do you think, plan on picking this one up through Sprint? Or are you waiting for it to come to another carrier?
