It looks like HTCis working on a new mid-range smartphone currently known as the Ocean Life. Well, at least according to LlabTooFeR, who shared the news on Twitter.

The leaker claims that the upcoming smartphone will sport a 5.2-inch display with Full HD resolution and will be powered by the Snapdragon 660 chipset. It will feature two 16 MP cameras (front and rear), pack a 2,600 mAh battery, and run Android 7.1.1 Nougat with HTC’s Sense 9.0 on top.

What’s even more interesting is that the Ocean Life is said to come with the Edge Sense technology, which made its debut on the company’s flagship smartphone, the U11. It basically allows you to open an app of your choice just by squeezing the smartphone. You can learn more about it in the video below.

HTC’s upcoming smartphone will also have a pair of USonic headphones included in the box, which feature active noise cancellation and the ability to fine-tune the sound to your ear through “advanced sonar-like technology.”

Unfortunately, there’s no word on when exactly the smartphone will be released and how much it will retail for.
