Poll: Have you ever seen a foldable phone in the wild before?

Foldable phones had a pretty good 2021, as Samsung reached new sales heights with its Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 devices. In saying so, the global foldable market is pretty much a Samsung-only affair right now, as other brands launch in China only.

One very subjective way of gauging a device’s popularity is to ask yourself if you’ve seen it in the wild before. And that’s the topic of our featured poll today. So let us know if you’ve seen a foldable phone in the real world.

Just to be clear, we’re not talking about your cousin at Samsung having a Galaxy Z Flip 3, a tech media friend rocking a Galaxy Z Fold 3, or seeing a device at your local cellular store. We’re talking about seeing friends, family, or strangers with a foldable phone (e.g. at a social gathering, during your commute, at the mall, etc).

Me? I’ve seen tech writer friends with foldable phones as well as devices at media events, but I don’t recall ever seeing anyone with a foldable phone in the wild otherwise.
