How to save a video from Messenger
In Messenger, you’re allowed to send videos back and forth between your contacts. These videos can be up to 25MB in size and can are downloadable on any device. How to download a video from Messenger
Downloading videos from a Messenger conversation is quick and easy. As previously mentioned, these can be up to 25MB in size, so make sure to have at least that much space free on the device downloading the video.
Android & iOS (Tap-and-hold method)
- Open the conversation in Messenger.
- Long-press the video. (Tap and hold.)
- From the options that appear, select Save video.
Android & iOS (Download button)
- Open the conversation in Messenger.
- Tap the video to start playing it. Make sure to full-screen it.
- Tap the Download button near the playback bar at the bottom.
Desktop
On desktop, find the video you want to download. Start playing it in full-screen, then click the Download button at the top.
