Amazon has cut $20 off the Samsung P9 Express microSDXC 256GB for Nintendo Switch 2, bringing it down to $59.99 from its $79.99 RRP. That is a 25% discount off the recommended retail price, and it is a strong deal on storage designed for Nintendo’s newer handheld.
The Samsung P9 Express is a 256GB microSD Express card made specifically for Nintendo Switch 2. Unlike a standard UHS-I gaming card, it uses the newer SD Express standard, which is aimed at faster performance on compatible devices. Samsung calls it its fastest microSD card, with sequential read speeds up to 800 MB/s. In standard UHS-I mode, it is listed at up to 90 MB/s read.
On the spec side, this is a microSDXC card rated Class 10, U3, and V30, using a PCIe Gen 3.0 x1 and NVMe 1.3 interface for supported hardware. In day-to-day use, that means more room for downloaded games, screenshots, and video capture, along with quicker game installs, transfers, and load times.
It also has a 4.7-star review rating, which adds to the appeal if you want storage from a well-known brand for your Switch 2 setup.
At $59.99 on Amazon, this is a good time to grab extra storage before the price changes. You can check out the deal here: Samsung P9 Express microSDXC 256GB for Nintendo Switch 2.
