TL;DR
  • Samsung has officially announced the One UI 5.1 rollout.
  • The update is coming to the Galaxy S20 or newer, as well as 2022’s foldables.

Samsung has already pushed out the One UI 5.1 update to older devices like the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy S22 range, and last year’s foldables. Now, the company has officially announced the rollout as well as the initial list of devices.

Samsung posted news of the rollout on its website, specifically saying the push will start with the phones below:

  • Galaxy S22 series
  • Galaxy S21 series (including the S21 FE)
  • Galaxy S20 phones (including S20 FE)
  • Galaxy Z Fold 4
  • Galaxy Z Flip 4

We’re guessing Samsung will bring the update to more phones down the line, such as the Galaxy A series and other budget Galaxy phones. Samsung also specifically mentioned tablets when talking about the One UI 5.1 rollout, so Galaxy Tab owners might not have to wait too long. Of course, Galaxy S23 owners already have the update out-of-the-box.

In any event, One UI 5.1 brings features like Expert RAW integration in the camera app, an improved smart suggestions widget, improved cross-device functionality with PCs, a new dynamic weather widget, and more additions.
