A new leak suggests Samsung could be ready to give data hounds exactly what they want, adding a massive storage option to the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 4.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is the next generation of Samsung’s flagship foldable phone. While several details have emerged about its overall specs, the latest report from SamMobile suggests the top-end model may sport a whopping 1TB of storage.

This wouldn’t be the first time Samsung has launched a phone with 1TB of storage, with the Galaxy S22 Ultra being the most prominent example. Nonetheless, phones with that much storage are relatively rare in the Android ecosystem considering how much it increases the price of the phone.

None of the devices in Samsung’s foldable line have microSD slots, and it’s a safe bet the Fold 4 will follow suit. This would make the 1TB option an appealing one for power users. For the record, none of Samsung’s previous foldables have had anything over 512GB of storage.

As SamMobile points out, nothing has been said about the potential price of a 1TB model. The current 512GB Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes in at $1,899. A 1TB model could be priced at $1,999 or higher, making it one of the most expensive phones on the market.
