TL;DR
  • Samsung is pushing out stable Android 13 to the Galaxy S21 series.
  • The update is hitting devices in several European countries right now.

Samsung has already brought stable One UI 5 to the Galaxy S22 series a few days ago, and it’s wasting little time in bringing the Android 13-based update to last year’s flagship family.

Yes, Samsung is now bringing the stable One UI 5 update to the Galaxy S21 series (h/t: SammyFans), namely the S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra. The update has firmware version number G99xBXXU5DVJC.

The update seems to be available in several European markets right now, including Germany and the UK. So you should sit tight and wait a few days if you haven’t received it just yet.

In any event, One UI 5 brings Android 13 features like per-app language controls, notification permissions, improved privacy and security, and visual tweaks. Samsung is also bringing a few features of its own, such as Modes functionality and video wallpaper support via Good Lock.
