Galaxy Note Edge to hit the UK: Pre-orders this Friday, on-sale the 28th
It’s a bit difficult to understand what Samsung was referring to when it said the Galaxy Note Edge would be a limited edition product released to limited markets. For all intents and purposes, the curved curiosity has, or is going to, hit every major market there is, seemingly before the year even ends. Already out in Japan for almost a month now, as well as Korea and soon the United States, the Edge is also preparing to hit Germany in a Premium Edition as well as most of Europe, and India, Australia, and now the United Kingdom.
According to information obtained by The Inquirer, the premium priced product will go up for pre-order this Friday (November 14th) with a release date set for the 28th. This gives those residents in the UK just enough time to allocate their finances in accordance with the sky-high price tag attached to the device. Nothing has been announced yet, but the European model will retail for €849 – €899.
While some have been quick to detract from the design as a glorified gimmick, after spending several weeks using it, the second screen factor really does have some legitimate uses.
