The Galaxy Note 7 press renders leak and you can pre-order it already
The Galaxy Note 7 may still be another two weeks away from official but there’s very little we don’t already know about it thanks to an over-active rumor mill and round-the-clock shifts at the leak factory. The latest leak is of the official press renders showing the device from all sides. But even better than that, you can already pre-order the phone in Dubai.
For the princely sum of AED 500 (~$130), Dubai residents and visitors can pre-order the phone at retail outlets in the city. Those who pre-order the Galaxy Note 7 in Dubai will also receive a free 128 GB microSD card. We’re still unable to say if the Note 7 will arrive with a traditional microSD card slot or one of the new combined microSD/UFS slots. (Read more on the new Samsung UFS cards)
With rumors stating T-Mobile will begin taking pre-orders for the Note 7 next week, we wouldn’t be surprised to see more of these signs cropping up in the next few days, both through carriers and online retailers. You’ve got until August 2 to pre-order (at lest in Dubai), when the phone is officially unveiled in New York City.
Meanwhile, the press renders of the Note 7 have leaked, but they don’t show anything we haven’t seen before. A very familiar design in a cool baby blue, gold and silver have appeared, but the Onyx black Note 7 is curiously missing. The S Pen looks the same (but hopefully can’t be inserted backwards anymore) and that iris scanner setup in the top bezel is impressively small.
What do you think of the Note 7 so far? Will you be pre-ordering or skipping it?
