TL;DR
  • The Samsung Galaxy A52 is receiving stable Android 13.
  • This update is seemingly limited to Russia right now.

Samsung has impressed with its stable Android 13 update schedule so far, bringing the update to 2022, 2021, and 2020 flagships alike. We’ve also seen the One UI 5 update land on a few mid-range phones, and now we can add one more budget-tier device to the list.

SamMobile reports that the Galaxy A52 is now receiving the stable Android 13 update in Russia. The update comes with firmware version A525FXXU4CVJB and also brings the November 2022 security patch.

This update should bring additions like visual tweaks, notification permissions, Bixby Modes (alongside Routines), and a security/privacy dashboard.

There’s no word on when the update will land in other countries, but you should expect it to land in your neck of the woods in the coming days. You can visit settings > software update > download and install to check if the update is available for you.

In any event, the Galaxy A52 is slated to receive three major OS updates over its lifespan. The handset received Android 12 last year, and now this Android 13 OTA means it’s due for Android 14 as its last scheduled update.
