iPhone owners have a great new option for earbuds
Today, British audio company RHA announced a new(ish) pair of earbuds dubbed the MA650i. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because the company has had some decent success with both wired and wireless versions in the past. Now, RHA has released a model that ends in a Lightning connector in the hopes of providing a well-built alternative to the ‘buds that comes in the box of most iOS devices.
They feature the same attention to detail and build quality that you’ll find in the MA650 that Lily Katz reviewed a while back, except now you won’t need a dongle in order to plug into iOS devices. The earbuds have an aluminum housing that, when paired with the included Comply memory foam ear tips, can work wonders with noise isolation if you plan to use these on your morning commute or around the office. Along with switching between tracks, you’ll be able to quickly and seamlessly access “Hey Siri” thanks to the three-button mic and remote.
If you don’t have an iOS device, you’ll likely have to go with the standard MA650 version as RHA has yet to announce a USB-C version. The new RHA MA650i earbuds will be available later this week on May 23 for $59.95, but you can pre-order now to secure yourself a pair.
