You can now get Retroid's best handhelds on sale before they are gone forever

If you’ve had your eye on a Retroid gaming handheld like the Pocket 5, Pocket Flip 2, or the excellent Retroid Classic, but were holding back because you couldn’t justify the price, now’s the best (and the last) time to get one.

Retroid announced on its Discord that it’s putting several handhelds on sale, slashing prices by as much as $50. The Retroid Classic is getting the biggest price cut, down to $99 from its original $149. We found the Retroid Classic to be one of the best handhelds in its price range when we reviewed it, and the reduced price is definitely the cherry on top.

Meanwhile, the company is also cutting prices on three other models. The Retroid Pocket 5, which was refreshed with two new colors earlier this year, is now $179, down from $209. The Pocket Flip 2 with the Snapdragon 865 chipset is now $189, down from $219, and the Pocket Flip 2 with the Dimensity 1100 chipset and 8GB of RAM is now $149, down from $179.

The reduced prices are already live on Retroid’s website, and the sale will run while supplies last. Moreover, the company has confirmed that it will discontinue all four handhelds once the sale ends, so this is your last chance to grab one.

Retroid’s decision to discontinue these models isn’t entirely surprising. All four handhelds have been around for over a year, and Retroid is clearly shifting its focus to newer devices like the Pocket Duo and Pocket Nova.
