It's official: The Redmi Note 11S is coming to India next month
- Xiaomi revealed that the Redmi Note 11S will launch in India next month.
- It looks like an OLED screen and 108MP camera will be on board.
- The announcement comes just two days ahead of the global Redmi Note 11 series launch.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 11T in India late last year, essentially being the Chinese Redmi Note 11 (or POCO M4 Pro) with a new name. Now, it looks like the company is planning to bring another Redmi Note 11 series device to India.
Redmi India announced on Twitter that it will be launching the Redmi Note 11S in the market on February 9. Check out the accompanying poster below.
The company didn’t divulge much information, although the image on its teaser website shows what could be “108MP” branding and a quad rear camera system. Serial tipster Mukul Sharma also claimed that an upcoming Redmi Note device in India will have an AMOLED screen, with Redmi India responding to this claim on Twitter. It didn’t confirm or deny this leak, merely saying that it set high standards in 2021 and aims to do the same in 2022.
You won’t have to wait until February for Redmi Note 11 series goodness though, as Xiaomi announced that a Redmi Note 11 series global launch will take place on January 26 (Wednesday). This launch is presumably for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and parts of Asia.
