The good news doesn’t end there for the brand though, as Realme has just announced that it’s hit 10 million users since its May 2018 inception.
We are immensely grateful for making us a family of 10 million globally in a short span of 14 months. With your love and support the #realme journey will only get better. pic.twitter.com/lFLT8mBptA— realme Europe (@realmeeurope) August 5, 2019
It’s a rather big figure for what is essentially a new brand, although the firm started out as an Oppo sub-brand. Still, it’s even more impressive when you consider that the company doesn’t actually have a proper flagship phone just yet. Almost all these sales have been driven by budget-minded phones, such as the Realme 3 series.
Realme’s figure is also a notable achievement due to the brand’s small footprint compared to the likes of Huawei, Samsung, and Xiaomi. The company first launched in India last year before expanding to China and Europe in 2019. The company has also expanded to the likes of Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Vietnam.
