Winner announced: The initial numbers are in! With almost a third of the votes cast, the Samsung Galaxy S10 family stole the crown from the OnePlus 7 family. To find out exactly which Galaxy S10 you liked the most, we surveyed you again, and to no one's surprise, the Galaxy S10 Plus came out on top. Did you pick the winner?

Our annual Best of Android awards are typically an end of year thing, we know, but let’s be real: there are far too many phones, and far too many opinions on those phones, to only ask for your input once a year. That’s why we’re introducing the BoA Reader’s Choice awards: Summer Edition!

With so many companies launching two flagships per year, we wanted to know your pick for best smartphone of 2019 so far.

Because even just six months of smartphone releases means a huge number of phones, we’ve pulled together a shortlist of the most popular phones on the site. That’s where we hand over to you, to vote, comment, argue and ultimately crown the winner of the inaugural BoA Reader’s Choice: Summer Edition award for best smartphone of early 2019.

Plus, we’ll be asking you to vote for your favorite Chromebooks, audio gear, and smart home products in the weeks to come, so stay tuned for that.

*If you’re voting for a particular phone in a family of phones (eg Samsung, OnePlus), hit the comments to let us know which one is your favorite.

Reader’s Choice: Which Galaxy S10 model is your favorite?

While we weren’t necessarily surprised Samsung came out on top, or that the Galaxy S10 Plus was your pick, we were impressed by the strong showing the new “budget” S10e and regular S10 made. Hit the comments and let us know if you agree or if there’s still an undiscovered contender we’re all sleeping on.
