The event looks to celebrate current trainers by featuring a special Pokémon once a month that will frequently appear for a few hours. These special Pokémon know a special move once you catch them, though that move will depend on the Pokémon you catch.

Apart from special Pokémon, Community Day also features increased experience points or Stardust, while lure modules will be activated for three hours.
