Full spec sheet for Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro leaks

As Google prepares for Thursday’s Pixel launch event, it appears a new leak will steal some of the show’s thunder. This most recent leak has revealed the full specifications of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.
The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be headlining Google’s hardware event this Thursday. Although the company shared a few tidbits about the two phones at Google I/O earlier this year, it has avoided sharing all the details in an attempt to save it as a surprise for the launch event.
Since Google I/O, there have been numerous leaks that have helped fill in some of the missing details. But with this new leak, found by WinFuture, we now know everything the Pixel 7 series will bring to the table. Let’s do a quick overview of the highlights from the leak.
According to the spec sheet, the Pixel 7’s screen could be slightly smaller than the Pixel 6, measuring 6.32 inches. However, it will likely have the same pixel density at 2,400 x 1,080. The Pixel 7 Pro’s display, on the other hand, will probably be largely similar to the Pixel 6 Pro.
For the camera, it looks like the Pixel 7 Pro might see an upgrade with a 4.8x optical zoom and up to 30x digital magnification. The previous model only offered 4x optical zoom. Additionally, the ultrawide camera might have an increased field of view of 125 degrees compared to the Pixel 6 Pro’s 114 degrees. However, it looks like the Pixel 7 will likely take a step back in the field-of-view department with its ultrawide camera possibly going down from 114 degrees to 106 degrees.
It also looks like there will be some minor differences in battery capacity as well. While the Pixel 7 Pro might keep its 5,000mAh battery from the last generation, the Pixel 7’s battery will probably be a little smaller than the Pixel 6’s 4,600mAh battery at 4,355mAh.
Thanks to earlier leaks, a fair amount of this information is far from being Earth-shattering news. But at least we have a clear picture as to what to expect when Google officially reveals the capabilities of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro later this week.
