Full specs for upcoming OnePlus Nord CE leak, seem pretty good for the price

It looks like this phone will exist as a middle ground between the original Nord and the Nord N10.

TL;DR
  • A nearly full spec sheet for the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE just leaked.
  • The phone will offer quite a few spec highlights at what we assume will be a reasonable price.
  • Pre-orders for the phone should start next week.

OnePlus already launched three phones this year in the OnePlus 9 series. The company isn’t done yet, though, as it has at least one more phone that should launch next week, known as the OnePlus Nord CE.

The “CE” apparently stands for “Core Edition.” This is the first time OnePlus has used that designation for one of its products, so we’re not quite sure yet what it’s going for.

Regardless, MySmartPrice got its hands on a nearly complete spec sheet for the Nord CE. The leak supports some earlier rumors we’ve heard related to the phone.

Pre-orders for the device should start on June 11 with general sales beginning June 16, 2021.

Leaked OnePlus Nord CE specs

According to the leak, the Nord CE should be just 7.9mm thick and feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. There would be an in-display fingerprint reader on deck, which would be a nice upgrade over the Nord N10 and Nord N100 from late 2020. There would also be a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Under the hood, the leak suggests you might find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset. This isn’t as fast as the Snapdragon 765G in the OnePlus Nord, but still high above the 600- and 400-series processors of the other Nord devices. That processor also supports 5G connections.

There should be two RAM/storage variants for the OnePlus Nord CE: 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB. Either way, you should also get a 4,500mAh battery with 30W wired charging. You should also see a triple-lens camera system on the back with a 64MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP depth sensor. There should be a 16MP shooter on the front in a left-aligned display cutout.

These specs support the idea that the OnePlus Nord CE should be more expensive than the Nord N10 but cheaper than the original OnePlus Nord. That should put it in the $300-$400 range, which won’t be a bad price for these specs.
