Latest OnePlus Nord 2 updates

June 15, 2022: Over two weeks ago, OnePlus pushed out the stable Android 12 update to the OnePlus Nord 2. However, that rollout is still happening, meaning there are still plenty of folks on Android 11. OnePlus must not be very confident that they’ll get Android 12 anytime soon, because the company is now pushing out a security patch update based on Android 11.

The update lands as Oxygen OS A.21. The update doesn’t include anything aside from the June 2022 security patch. Theoretically, users on Android 12 will not see this update, but users still locked to Android 11 will. Hopefully, the next time OnePlus pushes a security patch, it will be for Android 12 because all Nord 2 devices would have it by then.

To check if an update is available, head to Settings > System > System updates on your device.
