The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting nearly everyone around the world in one away or another. OnePlus sees this, and it’s taking extra measures to support its customers during the current coronavirus outbreak.

In a recent announcement, the company revealed that it is updating its return and warranty policies during this tragic time. Effective immediately, OnePlus customers will benefit from these updated policy revisions:

  • If your warranty expires between March 1 and May 30, it will be extended to May 31.
  • Return and replacement periods are extended 15 to 30 days.
  • All returns, replacements, and repairs get free two-day shipping.

OnePlus is also working on setting up a device backup program, which would provide users with a temporary handset while they send in their smartphone for repairs. At first, the program will be available in Europe and North America with limited stock before expanding to other markets.
