OnePlus 9 Pro Pine Green colorway, droid case revealed in official teasers

The OnePlus 9 series is a day away from launch and there’s not much that has remained hidden thanks to leaks as well as official reveals. Over the weekend, OnePlus gave us two more bits of information about the flagship OnePlus 9 Pro — a new colorway and a returning case.

First up, OnePlus introduced us to the Pine Green colorway for the OnePlus 9 Pro. We saw this color in a leak before but we now have more details about what went into creating the new finish.

OnePlus says that Pine Green is inspired by the natural world. It’s the opposite of the mirror-like Morning Mist colorway that the company revealed previously. Instead of having a gloss, reflective rear, it comes bearing a matte-frosted glass back panel with a matte film underneath it.

OnePlus claims that the “result feels every bit as soft and smooth as it looks.”

OnePlus Droid case

The brand is also bringing back the OnePlus Droid case that made its debut with the OnePlus 5T. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau shared a render of the case on Twitter after it, along with a bunch of other OnePlus 9 Pro cases, leaked on PriceBaba. You can check out the OnePlus Droid case and others in the images below.
