The OnePlus 7 Pro is probably one of the best flagship phones of 2019, but that doesn’t mean it’s without problems though. Now, the Chinese brand has issued an update that addresses several issues.

The Oxygen OS update (9.5.7.GM21AA) delivers several system tweaks, including improved touch sensitivity (likely related to the phantom touch issue) and “optimized” double tap to wake functionality.

We also see a host of camera-related changes as part of the update. These tweaks include improved contrast and color performance, more consistent white balance across the various rear cameras, and better auto-focus. We also see several image quality improvements related to the ultra-wide camera, telephoto shooter, and Nightscape mode.

The update is rolling out in a staged manner, so you might need to wait a few days to see it on your device. Either way, we hope these updates fix most of the issues experienced by some OnePlus 7 Pro owners. Have you noticed any improvements regarding the camera and “phantom touch” problem?
