TL;DR
  • The OnePlus 6T will land in Europe from November 6, according to the firm’s German PR agency.
  • The release date means the phone will be available a week after its official reveal.
  • OnePlus’s latest phone will pack an in-display fingerprint sensor, but no headphone jack.

The OnePlus 6T is scheduled for a reveal in the coming weeks, and OnePlus has created a drip-feed of news in the run-up to its launch. The steady stream of news continues this week, as the Chinese brand has announced a European release date for the new phone.

The flaghip will hit Europe from Tuesday, November 6, according to a press release sent to Android Authority by OnePlus’s German PR agency. This means the phone will be available in Europe a week after its October 30 reveal.

The agency was unable to confirm specific European launch countries, retailer support, or possible carrier partnerships. But if it’s anything like previous devices, Europeans should be able to get the device via the OnePlus website.

As for confirmed specifications, we know that the OnePlus 6T will have an in-display fingerprint sensor, and will eschew a headphone jack. Rumored specifications include a Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB to 8GB of RAM, a dual-camera setup, and a 3,700mAh battery.

It’s far from the only phone set for an October reveal, however, as the Google Pixel 3, Razer Phone 2, ASUS ROG Phone and Huawei’s Mate 20 are all set to launch as well. Pour one out for our reviewers.
