OnePlus 10R renders leak, and it looks pretty familiar

It looks like yet another rebrand is on the cards for a BBK brand.

TL;DR
  • Renders showing the OnePlus 10R have apparently surfaced online.
  • The images show a phone that bears a resemblance to the realme GT Neo 3.

OnePlus launched the OnePlus 9R last year, coming as an upper mid-range companion to the flagship OnePlus phone. We’ve seen spec leaks regarding a OnePlus 10R for a few months now, but we’ve finally got a look at apparent renders too.

91mobiles and frequent leaker Yogesh Brar posted renders that purportedly show the OnePlus 10R. The images show a phone that looks similar to the previously announced realme GT Neo 3 by OnePlus’ stablemate.

That means you’ve got a center-mounted punch-hole cutout on the front and a distinctive rear camera housing. The rear cameras are arranged in a triangle of sorts, with a large camera (presumably the main shooter) at the top and two auxiliary cameras at the bottom — much like realme’s phone. In saying so, the flash is in a different position on the OnePlus handset.

It’s also interesting to note that the OnePlus 10R renders don’t show an alert slider here, lining up with a previous Pricebaba claim. It wouldn’t be the first time we see a OnePlus phone missing this long-time feature, but it’s clear that the brand is losing elements that made it unique in the first place.

OnePlus 10R: Hot or not?

Otherwise, previous leaks point to the OnePlus 10R having identical specs to the realme GT Neo 3. More specifically, it’s claimed that the OnePlus phone will have a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 5G chipset and a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED screen. A 50MP main camera (IMX766) with OIS, 8MP ultrawide lens, and 2MP macro sensor are said to feature on the back.

Much like the realme device, the phone is said to come in two variants. The first variant offers a 4,500mAh battery with 150W charging, while the second model is said to bring a 5,000mAh battery with 80W speeds.

Either way, it looks like the OnePlus Nord 3 and OnePlus 10R might be identical devices if they’re both modeled after the realme GT Neo 3. So we’re guessing that the Nord 3 and 10R will be coming to different markets if they’re both indeed identical.
