As the launch of OnePlus’ latest devices draws closer, we continue to get our hands on more rumors and leaks about the upcoming OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Lite, and OnePlus 8 Pro. Now, a recent hands-on reveals even more information about the Pro variant’s upcoming display tech.

The information comes from TrueTech, and we get a picture of what appears to be the OnePlus 8 Pro’s high-refresh-rate screen settings. These screen settings reveal three display options, including 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz modes.

This information not only suggests the OnePlus 8 Pro will most likely come with the 120Hz display we have heard so much about, but it also leads us to believe users will be able to toggle the two lower refresh rate options to conserve battery. This would be a welcome addition considering how battery taxing high-refresh-rate displays can be.

We have no idea from this hands-on if OnePlus also plans to include its high-refresh-rate display on the rumored standard and Lite models or if it will be a Pro exclusive. It’s also worth noting this hands-on lines up with previous rumors suggesting OnePlus will ditch the pop-up camera with the 8 series in favor of a hole-punch style display.

Though we’re all but certain OnePlus will include 120Hz displays in the upcoming 8 series, there is no way to verify if this is truly a picture of the Pro variants’ display settings or not. Until we get the official word from OnePlus, we need to take this information with a good old fashioned grain of salt.
