Try to get a hole in one with OK Golf, out now on Google Play
The spring and summer months are the best times of the year for golfers to take some time to grab their clubs, go to their favorite course, and hit some balls down the fairway. However, there may be some days when that’s not possible. A newly released Android game, OK Golf, is aiming to give players a chance to get some virtual time on the course.
The game, from developer Playdigious, doesn’t have a super-realistic look, but instead shows courses as if they were made in miniature dioramas. This offers a different, yet still beautiful design compared to some of its rivals. Each of the courses in the game have been modeled on real locations as well.
In terms of gameplay, the team behind OK Golf has made it easy for anyone to play. Just aim, drag and release on the display to hit the ball on the fairway or on the green. Players can also compete with others in online multiplayer matches. You can also unlock more courses and find secret areas as you play.
One of the best features of OK Golf is that it costs just $2.99 to download and play the entire game, with no in-app purchases. In fact, the developers claim that it will update the game with new courses and content for free in the future. Plus, if you buy the game before May 23, you will also get a special preview of one of those updates – the Paris Rooftops level.
