If you are still waiting on an Android Lollipop update, Nova Launcher has adopted enough of the new OS’ aesthetics to help tide you over. The latest beta update, version 3.3beta1, throws in a Lollipop looking app drawer for completeness.

The beta’s Lollipop-style app drawer pops out with a fancy circle animation and resembles Google’s cards. Those with the beta can enable this option through Nova Settings > Drawer > Show Pages as Cards. The update also renames the old Circle animation to Circle Wipe and contains a small number of fixes and optimizations.

Nova Launcher Pages as Cards

Nova Launcher has already implemented Android Lollipop icons and animations, folder layouts, search bars, and even the little markers to identify the current homescreen page that you’re on, all borrowed from the latest version of Android.

You have two choices if you want to try out the latest beta build. Join up to the Nova Launcher Beta G+ Community and then opt into beta testing through this link. Alternatively, you can download and install the beta .apk file from here.

If you aren’t already running Nova Launcher, you can download the regular 3.2 version from the Play Store for free.
